Smartphones are the latest version of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA). PDA was invented to provide all the benefits of a computer or laptop into a device that one can carry in his or her pocket while being able to easily view information while holding it in the palm of one’s hand. The Touch Phone is very useful for those who need information right at their fingertips. However, due to the coordination and additional accessories, the convenience began to deteriorate. With PDA Phones, compatibility is a major concern as it does not allow users to access all the information which is required and while even owning a PDA Phone, one still is required to log into a computer or laptop to view information.

Separate wires and cords are also required to connect PDA Phones to a cell phone or to a modem to use the internet. This is not convenient in the eyes of users today. Touch Phones have overcome this problem as it uses DSL service to connect users while also allowing permanent internet connection, meaning that you have unlimited access to the internet. For example, if we talk about durability, Nokia phones have the reputation as being the best. If you are searching for the latest design, then one should purchase a Sony Ericsson or iPhone, as they are both trendy. A battery with a large capacity is essential for smartphones as it consumes the battery much faster than other brands.
