The very reason why safety posters are being used and posted in workplaces is because this is one of the top places where people’s rights are violated. Every day, workers from all over the United States and the rest of the world get discriminated against, children are being lured and forced to work, and equal employment opportunities are not provided to job applicants. Often times, these rights are being disregarded by shady employers who want to maximize the benefits from their workforce but do not want to provide the proper and healthy working conditions for the employees. This is when posters about workers rights are most needed. When federal labor law posters are displayed in the workplace, the people there get constantly reminded of the privileges and the constitutional rights that protect them from being abused by their employers. When posters are displayed in the workplace, employees become more empowered. Being informed about these simple employment rights empower each working individual and enables him to exercise the rights that were provided to him when the constitution and the rules of mankind were more than a hundred years ago.

Labor law posters must be considered as a requirement for all workplaces. It is a simple way of expressing the employer’s willingness to protect the rights of his employees. But this simple way is a very powerful way of making your employees believes that their employer is in the legal side of doing business. That the employer need not trample upon the rights of common people just to uphold the business and make it more profitable. Every business owner knows that it can still make money without having to break any federal law—much more, to break or disregard the rights of people working for the company. And besides, employers who stick with the legal side of the business will always gain the respect of the people around him. The employees will trust him and work better for him and the company. This is the way to go if the employer really wants to develop a mutually beneficial relationship with the different stake holders of the business: the employees, the customers, and even the government. In that way, conflict is avoided and everyone is happy at the end of the day. On the other hand, the employer is also benefited by not having to face any law suits for disobeying feral rights of employees.
