Any state leader will wish for a safe environment for his citizens. But how else could we ensure that we have a safe place for our people but by making sure that laws are in place and are being observed in the particular state in question.

Arizona aggressively informs its citizens about the following state laws: Discrimination, Minimum Wage, Child Labor Law, Equal Opportunity, Workers Compensation, and Unemployment Compensation. How does this state actually run this information campaign for its citizens? State officials make sure that the places which are commonly populated contain safety posters that may be read by citizens passing by. Imagine this simple act of posting an informative poster along the road could actually translate into improved legal knowledge among the people in your state. It will be an answered prayer true for security officials and human rights advocates who want to live in a world where each person is aware of the things that other people can or cannot do to them. In this regard, people not only become street smart, they are also proactively participating in discouraging crimes from happening. Wouldn’t that be amazing: a simple poster translating into tangible state-wide security improvement?

As for New York law posters, virtually the same laws apply. They also have a law for employment discrimination, for child labor, and for worker’s compensation. But the other finer details may be different, such as the amount of fine that a person has to pay or the number of years that he must serve in jail if he violates any of the rules mentioned above. But the end point is, both states protect the same rights because it values human integrity. The very act of upholding various laws in a state is a clear example of how much people has to value other people’s well being and integrity. And if only all individuals will observe this and stick with the laws, legal conflict will rarely happen.

So whether its New York or Arizona labor law poster, it does the same thing. And that is to protect the public from being abused by shady individuals who want to trample on the rights of other people. By making the effort of providing posters in highly populated areas, the state is making the first step in ensuring that all people are informed of their rights. With this, the state already made a decision to improve it current stature with regards legal issues and the law.
