One of the most complicated issues all over the world which is troubling human society is Child Labor. Children who are supposed to be nation's future are forbidden from their basic rights of being educated and play, but are bought and sold as if they are not humans. Study shows that over tens of millions children are engaged in some or the other kind of commercial labor. Child laborers being the cheapest form of labor are more prominent in poor countries. However, rich and developed nations are also not untouched with this crime.
Though many countries have Federal state law, which enforces employers to avoid being indulged in child labor, but not all follow this. In spite of being declared Child labor as illegal and exploitative by many organizations still this issue is of grave concern. Be it agriculture, mining, factory work or some repetitive tedious work children are exploited everywhere. It takes the worst form when it comes to child prostitution, trafficking and slavery.
In order to prevent child labor globally, governments of many nations have tightened the rules and mandated employers to place
Federal and state labor law posters in their workplace where it is clearly visible to the workers, so as to educate employees about various benefits and rights. Governments also have policies to prevent children employment that is below the age of fourteen in the area like factories, mines, soldering and other perilous employment where hazardous employment is used. Emphasis is also given on their health and safety standards and thus law requires placing
safety posters too.
Although these objectives are difficult to meet because there is unreported domestic labor also, which is common in various parts of the world, still hanging up-to-date
labor law poster will help employer to understand and follow rules and regulation clearly, preventing any violation of policies and thus eliminating risk of fines.
