Almost everyone wants to use short passwords that can be easily remembered and aside this most people will prefer to use the same passwords for a whole lot of applications. This act of using short passwords and using the same password for every application will make your pc much more vulnerable to virus attacks, and spywares and your information can be easily stolen.

Always learn to avoid the use of easily cracked passwords, you need to know that generic and default passwords such as pass. User, guess, love, password, 2010 and others alike can be easily detected by a password tracker used by a PC hacker. Meaningful words such as lion, Mary, my love, dragon, USA, myspouse and the likes. All these must be avoided when choosing a password for any application on pcs. You also need to know that an automated cracking tool used by a hacker can also detect easily your personal names, birthdates and special occasion words, hence you shouldn’t use such.

Try as much as possible to create different passwords for different applications. You can make use of a mixture of numbers and uncommon words which cannot easily be detected by a password cracking device. Add words with numbers where possible and try as much as possible to use special characters such as -, _, #, and many more.
